Home town: Peterborough
Training: At age 16 Ellinor became the first female ever to be accepted by top London architectural model maker Thorp for a three year apprenticeship. She worked on many detailed and complex models including the Holy City of Mecca, the Channel Tunnel Rail link and Marlborough House, headquarters of the Commonwealth Secretariat.
On completing her indentures, she worked on a number of private model-making contracts. She joined Thomas & Peters sculpture studio as a full-time member of staff 12 years ago, becoming highly adept in all the art casting skills and management of production. In 2007 she became a full partner in the company.
