Measuring 10"/25 cm long and 9"/23 cm this is a sculpture of horse and jockey in complete harmony, jockey perfectly balanced, as they gallop towards the finishing post. Eminently suitable as a perpetual trophy or personal award.
The jockey's outfit is beautifully modelled with detailed jodhpurs, boots, gloves, boots and hat and goggles, with the saddle, reins and bridle finely modelled and cast all in Thomas & Peters patented float bronze.
Mounted on a twin base made up of a slice of Green Lakeland Slate, which is just the right colour for a horse on grass, and a 2"/5cm thick block of mahogany. Ample room for engraving the cost of which up to 55 letters is included in the price.
