This Victorian lady golfer made in real bronze is a charming piece with superb finishing and great details. The traditional dark patinated finish adds to its nostalgic interest. Right down to the full-length skirt in the fashions of the time, this original, hand-crafted piece captures those bygone days beautifully.

From the ribboned boater, to the styling of the hair, the elegant face, and the flowing skirt and pointy shoes, the detail is immense. Also notable are the puffed sleeves, ruffled cuffs, finely carved hands, belt and box-pleated basque.

The Victorian lady was originally carved in wax - instead of being sculpted in the usual clay - which gives the casting the smoothest possible finish which can be polished into a rich mirror shine. In the patinated version it results in a wonderfully warm glow.
